Bowling! from Kjetil Jansrud on Vimeo.
Bowling bonanza! Needing a (well earned) break from the monotone days as alpine skiers, the world cup girls invited us to an evening of bowling today. It’s always good to focus on something else than skiing now and then, not to mention getting out of that hotel room bed we spend X-amount of hours in every day. I expected us all to be rather bad at bowling, which turned out to be a pretty good guess. The scores averaged from about 55 to 141, but we were having fun regardless of the amounts of bowling balls that ended up in the gutter.
Truls Karlsen and I ended up at the same score of 131 and were happily high-fiving the joint victory until Lene Løseth threw like three -out of this world – strikes and got a final score of 141, making the two of us look like raving idiots.
Last but not least, I guess many of you want to know how many points Aksel got. Well, let’s just say that he didn’t want to blog about this at all, and that there is no chance of him changing sports any time soon.
